The Delhom Service League @ the Mint Museum
The Delhom Service League (DSL) was organized in 1972 following the arrival of Miss M. Mellanay Delhom and her outstanding ceramics collection of historical pottery and porcelain. The mission of the Delhom Service League is to create and develop interest in ceramics by studying the world of potters and their cultures, from ancient China to contemporary America. Members of DSL are a diverse group of volunteers, artists, teachers, corporate leaders, doctors, collectors, and lifelong learners. They enjoy the camaraderie of a group that shares an interest in ceramic arts while expanding their knowledge and supporting the ceramics collection of The Mint Museum. The Ceramics Series - including trips, tours, and talks - is offered to the public from September through May. A signature fundraising event, Potters Market at the Mint, held each fall, supports the acquisition of ceramics and library material for The Mint Museum.
