Matthews Playhouse of the Performing Arts and Theatre Matthews
Established in 1995, Matthews Playhouse is committed to enriching children's lives by inviting them into the world of Performing Arts, through performing, in the audience, or in a drama, dance, or music class. Matthews Playhouse has grown to a full season of plays and classes for young people year round. Thousands of school children will view classic plays as a part of their school day or attend public performances. Each year hundreds of children will take classes in creative drama, musical theatre, acting, dance and voice. In 2002 we began producing full length productions for our adult audiences through our Theatre Matthews group.
