Thinksplot Design Studio

Alan Blythe, a designer with more than 3 decades of creative design and management experience, has spent the past year cultivating his lifelong dream: opening a design studio that not only supports local artists, but also strives to weave their visions into the fabric of the community. The name of this studio: Thinksplot design studio, a subsidiary of the great southern creativity company.

Thinksplot design studio is currently housed in a 4,000 square foot facility in Jetton Village. The studio features photography, paintings, pottery, jewelry and other pieces on consignment by artists from the carolinas, (as well as original pieces by employees). A children's creativity play area gives kids the opportunity to dream up their own creations; as well as take art classes. Adult art classes will also be given. Though Alan has big dreams for his studio, he is not alone. Accompanying him are “splots”, silly people living on talent. These “splots” bring a variety of artistic talents, experience and business acumen – all of which are currently being employed to create the collateral materials inspired by Blythe's vision to develop a destination out of the shopping centers located throughout the LKN area.
