La Paz
La Paz Restaurant and Cantina has been a hallmark in the Charlotte restaurant community since it opened it's doors in 1979. Originally located in a house off Providence Road and Fenton Place, La Paz moved to an intimate location on South Boulevard across from Sullivans in the 1990's. The Manning Family purchased La Paz in 2007, during it's tenure on South Boulevard, which they ran successfully up until January of 2011. Longing for a larger venue, the Manning family closed the doors on the South Boulevard location. A year later La Paz was ready to come back to life in the Metropolitan. After a brief soft opening, the family held the official grand opening on January 19th, 2012.
