Discovery Place Kids - Huntersville

Discovery Place Kids is an innovative model in regional children’s museums developed by Discovery Place. Discovery Place Kids is built on the theme of “I CAN” and offers unique opportunities for learning through play for children ages birth – 7 and their parents or caregivers. Discovery Place Kids is themed around a small town, allowing children to be a firefighter, a chef or an explorer; build a castle, create a masterpiece or pilot an airplane; and visit a farm, run a grocery store or dig in an outdoor garden. Each visit is enhanced by live shows and special events, including daily puppet shows, dance parties, science experiments, family story time and craft projects. The Museum also offers Summer Camps, Field Trips, Classes and Mommy & Me programs.

Hours & Admission
In support of the recent reports and recommendations from the Mecklenburg County Health Department, Discovery Place Science, Discovery Place Nature and Discovery Place Kids-Huntersville will be closed from January 14 through February 2.
