American Craft Council

The American Craft Council is a national, nonprofit educational organization founded in 1943 by craft pioneer Aileen Osborn Webb. The Council’s mission is to promote understanding and appreciation of contemporary American craft. Programs include the annual series of juried craft shows, the bimonthly magazine AMERICAN CRAFT, the Aileen Osborn Webb Awards honoring excellence in craft, conferences and seminars, and a specialized library on contemporary craft.
