Torrence Lytle Community Center

Torrence-Lytle was the only high school for African-Americans in northern Mecklenburg County. From its opening in 1937 to its closing in 1966 Isaac T. Graham was the school’s principal. The Torrence-Lytle building is no longer a county school, but survives as a community center.
