Carolina Voices
Founded as the Charlotte Choral Society in 1953 and renamed in 2000, Carolina Voices has been giving voice – literally – to the human experience for more than 50 years. Known first and foremost for its annual productions of The Singing Christmas Tree and The Singing Christmas Tree for KIDS, Carolina Voices has grown from its modest beginnings into a choral arts organization embracing three vocal ensembles and performing a variety of music that is unequaled in the Charlotte community. Each season the organization's 120 volunteer singers present concerts, workshops, educational opportunities and special events which touch thousands of adults and children in the community. Carolina Voices is proud to provide a dynamic resource for those in greater Charlotte who wish to perform choral music as well as for those who enjoy listening to it.
