Blumenthal Performing Arts Center

The Blumenthal presents the best of Broadway, touring theatrical and musical acts. It is also home to 13 Resident Companies like Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, North Carolina Dance Theatre and Opera Carolina. The Center strives to use the arts as a major catalyst to strengthen education, build community cohesiveness and advance economic growth.

Parking & Transit

The Bank of America Parking Garage is the designated parking for any performances taking place in the Belk Theater, The Booth Playhouse and the Stage Door Theater. There are entrances at both: 150 N College Street and 290 E 5th Street. A special preferred parking rate of only $10 is available for our patrons, but only on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays. The Levine Center for the Arts Parking Garage is the designated parking garage for events taking place at Knight Theater, located at 550 S Tyron Street with an entrance on West Brooklyn Village Avenue. The Special preferred parking rate is $5 (cash only), also only on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays. Our venues in Spirit Square are currently under construction, so there will not be any programming at this location until further notice.
