House of Light Church
More than anything, the House of Light Church is a fellowship – a group of people living life together while pursuing a meaningful relationship with an amazing Savior. We’re the first to admit we’re not perfect, far from it actually, and that’s something we take pride in, though we don’t want to stay in that place of brokenness forever. We have a vision to bring the light of God’s love to those in our community, and we believe that starts first with extending an invitation rather than imparting judgement.
We’ve so excited to be ministering to the community of Charlotte from our location on the Johnson C. Smith University Campus.
When you get to know House of Light Church, you’re getting to know a group of real people with real problems. We don’t sugar coat things around here, but we’re all united in our goal to become the best versions of ourselves through forgiveness, grace, community, and service.
We are not focused on following a set of rules to a “t” and showing up “put together and perfect”. The House of Light encourages you to “come as you are” and let Christ make you a better person today, than you were yesterday!

Hours & Admission
Sunday morning worship service takes place every Sunday at 10 am. Enjoy Praise & Worship, then a down to earth, relevant Word from God. Our services are not fashion shows, so please come as you are. God is far more interested in your heart than He is in your clothes. On Wednesday's, join us for our weekly virtual Bible Study. We come together at 7 pm to study God's word and find the relevance to our lives. At the House of Light, you are never a stranger, rather always a newly discovered family member!Update this organization
