15 Short Film Festival
For 18 years the 15 short Film festival has been a part of the Charlotte cultural and arts scene. The 15 Short Film Festival or 15 strives to search out the best shorts in the world that are fifteen minutes or less. There are five categories which include: DRAMA - EXPERIMENTAL - COMEDY - ANIMATION - DOCUMENTARY. The past events have had entries and official selections from over 20 countries and 50 film festivals. Some have included award winning films as well as student films.15 has become one of the best known stops for short film makers. Several films screened here in the past have gone on to be Oscar nominated as well as winners. 15 has become an important stop for short film creatives.
