Craft And Trade Academy
Müller Corporation, originally known as International Ceramic Construction (ICC), was founded in Germany in 2005 by Georg Müller. In 2007 his son Frank Müller joined the company and continued to expand its services in the US.
ICC underwent a comprehensive rebrand of its services in March 2020 to better meet the collective needs of its clients and employees. This was a reflection of its growth as a company and continued penetration into new and emerging markets. The company now encompasses Müller Surfaces, Müller Industrial Services, Global Tiling and Craft & Trade Academy.
Müller provides floor covering and industrial cleaning services to the hospitality, automotive, food & beverage, and other commercial industries. High quality standards in-house trained craftsmen ensure superior results and unmatched client service.
Highly trained trade workers and quality workmanship is Craft & Trade Academy core competence. A lack of well trained and skilled workers is a constant challenge in the tiling and flooring industry. Our leaders decided to meet this challenge and provide for the training internally and thus, The Craft & Trade Academy was born. Our apprenticeship is based on the German model, which is recognized internationally for its high standard of quality.
Craft & Trade Academy, founded as Müller Academy in 2019, continues to expand and provide certified training to meet the needs of the growing construction industry. We are a public 501(c)3 non-profit higher education institution committed to developing highly trained trade workers. From two tile apprenticeships certified by the U.S. Department of Labor to specialized programs in foundations in construction, drywall, paint, and paper, you will find a program that captivates you. Students can expect a combination of classroom learning, real field experience, and transition into the workforce. Built on three pillars: Safety, Culture, and Artisanry, Craft & Trade Academy is based on the world-class German model and is an excellent alternative to college.
We believe that the craft and artisanry aspect is as important as trade. Our students are skilled in technical knowledge combined with creativity and artistic skills.
