CNM promotes the creation, performance, access, education, and opportunities in contemporary music in Charlotte, NC, and beyond.
ABOUT
Charlotte New Music has come a long way over the past ten years to provide space for creation, performance, access, and education in contemporary classical music and beyond. As the leading new music organization and contemporary music festival in the Southeastern United States, we serve artists at the local, national, and international level.
Over the last decade, the Charlotte New Music Festival has presented over 110 concert experiences full of world-premieres composed by up-and-coming and renowned composers. Composers and Musicians have come from every continent (except Antarctica) to collaborate and be a part of our programs.
CNM’s offerings include concerts, cross-disciplinary performances, and educational events for musicians of all ages.
