Sow Much Good
Sow Much Good (SMG) was founded to eliminate socio-economic, racial, and ethnic health disparities that result from a lack of access to nutritionally dense food products in marginalized populations. SMG works to achieve food justice through programming and community based initiatives designed to provide equal access to organic food sources; to inspire individuals to take charge of their health and to promote healthy lifestyles through food and nutrition. Sow Much Good has served more than 700 families to date through neighborhood farm stands and free education classes to encourage healthy habits in underserved communities. Robin Emmons, Sow Much Good's Founder & Executive Director, was selected as a 2013 CNN Hero for the organization's work to provide access to healthy food in low income communities
