Keep on your toes and join Levine Museum of the New South for a high-energy dance workshop led by Dances of India! This workshop is perfect for everyone, whether you’re a beginner, a seasoned dance enthusiast, or have no dance experience at all. Enjoy the excitement of dancing, culture, and community!

Through storytelling and demonstration, learn about the vibrant history and cultural significance of Indian dance. Then, step onto the dance floor or stay seated and participate in a dance class, where you’ll learn graceful movements, expressions, and hand gestures of classical and folk dances of South India.

Parking is free and available on site.
Waters will be provided!
Please wear clothing that you can move in comfortably.
