Get ready for an unforgettable theatre experience full of immense compassion and keen insight. Three Bone Theatre proudly presents the North Carolina Premiere of Thoughts of a Colored Man, the Broadway sensation from 2021.

Thoughts of a Colored Man features a slice of life in rapidly gentrifying Brooklyn through seven Black men’s remarkable stories. Woven together with spoken word these men share their dreams, struggles, and triumphs in a world that often refuses to listen to them.

Directed by Sidney Horton, and featuring a talented ensemble of Charlotte actors – you won’t want to miss the show critics are calling “the most important play of the 21st century.”

Thoughts of a Colored Man contains strong adult language, adult themes around race, and descriptions and depictions of anti-Black sentiments and violence. Recommend for ages 16+.
