Pueblos

This program consists of a series of FREE expressive art bilingual shows and workshops for children and families. The goal is to foster cultural preservation by sharing and bringing alive childhood songs, storytelling, games, short plays, riddles, nursery rhymes and poems.

Lead by several teaching artists and performers, children will embrace and explore the many elements of their home language and culture. Families will share and be inspired by the wealth and folklore of Latin America and beyond.

PUEBLOS will be held at various locations from February to June. The two main locations are: Fullwood Theater, 100 E. McDowell St Mathews 28105 and Emerald Bay Apartments, 5029 Cherrycrest Ln, Charlotte, NC 28217. PUEBLOS will culminate with four “Concerts/Recitals” performed by the high energy and engaging Criss Cross Mangosauce band. For the months of February we will be at Fullwood Theater at 11:00 am on Feb 3rd and 17th,
