Band Camp: Concert + Jazz

Join middle and high school student musicians in grades 6 - 12 from around the area for a week of concert and jazz bands!

The Arts+ Concert and Jazz Band Camp has been a staple in the Charlotte region for nearly two decades. Students will perform alongside and under the direction of the finest conductors and instructors from across Charlotte and the surrounding areas. Enjoy a week of bands, combos, improvisation, games, and masterclasses. The week will finish with a free concert on Friday afternoon, open to the public and featuring special guest performers and our solo competition winner. Whether you are interested in concert band or jazz band (or both!), this camp is for YOU!

CONCENTRATIONS

Students may choose their "concentration" of either concert band or jazz band or choose to do both. If a student chooses both, their day will be split between the two concentrations.

PREREQUISITES

Students must have at least one school year's worth of instruction on their instrument and be able to read music for their instrument.
