Middle School Orchestra 101 Camp

Interested in learning a string instrument but not sure where to start? Want to get your feet wet before signing up for a whole year of school orchestra? This camp is perfect for you! Running the same week as our String Orchestra Camp, this Orchestra 101 Camp is designed for Rising 6th-8th graders who are interested in learning an instrument for the first time.

We’ll spend the week learning the basics of our instruments, how to take care of them, starting technique, and all the fundamentals you need to get started successfully on a new musical journey, including the basics of reading sheet music. This camp is perfect for students who have never been in an orchestra before or who have some orchestra experience but want to change instruments.
