"Music Is Our Refuge"

Historic Rosedale

Historic Rosedale’s newest exhibit “Music Is My Refuge” displays traditional African Instruments. From percussion to strings, music was a hugely important part of the African diaspora. Come see a djembe, xylophone, rainstick, shekere, and kora and learn their importance to the culture of music. This exhibit will be on site from February 1-22 during regular house tours.
