Join Opera Carolina as we bring the classic tale of Hansel and Gretel to life through music and opera songs!
Hansel and Gretel is about two siblings (brother and sister) who are abandoned in a forest. As they follow the breadcrumbs home, they find a house made of gingerbread and are so hungry they cannot help themselves. They soon fall into the hands of a witch who lives in the gingerbread house and plans to fatten the children before making her own snacks, but Gretel outwits her and escapes with Hansel. Opera Carolina artists become characters in the story through costume and music. Can you help Hansel and Gretel escape the clutches of the Witch?
