Join us for an evening where visual art meets written word. Listen to readings of the selected works with host Jay Ward, Charlotte's first poet laureate. Artwork, printed writings and books will be available for purchase.
What is Ekphrastic anyways?
It's a literary description of visual art.
In this exhibition, selected writers were paired with selected visual artists to examine the state of change that is constant in our world. The writers created a one-page writing inspired by the visual artwork.
The culmination of these pairings will be on display to be enjoyed by the public starting March 10 through April 7.
