Adult Art: Sequential Storytelling
Arts+
Examine the theories behind storytelling using practical exercises to help you recognize and use components that make up a good story through weekly in-class lessons and critiques.
Students will examine visual narrative through composition, design, image, the juxtaposition of elements, storytelling theory, panels, continuity, and, of course, FIGHT CHOREOGRAPHY!
There will also be group discussions on comic cons (from both sides of the table) and Kickstarter, and how to best use them to bring a comic from your imagination to the final product.
This adult art class begins February 22 and meets for six weeks on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. at the new Arts+ Uptown location!
