Unity Concert: Dream

Charlotte Master Chorale’s Unity Concert series continues with this year’s entry, Dream, centered around the shared hope of our diverse nation, challenging all present to remember our neighborly calling to care for each other, inspiring society to strengthen the ties that bind us together, and urging us not to inflame the conflicts that divide, through a collection of musical works reminding us of our nation’s ideals (André Thomas’s “I Dream a World”), the simple needs of everyday life (Leonard Bernstein’s “Make Our Garden Grow”), and our continued duty to “Take Care of This House” (Bernstein) as we reimagine our monuments (Ayanna Woods’ Shift), and continue striving for the freedom of all (Cynthia Erivo’s “Stand Up” and John Legend’s “Glory”).

General Admission Tickets: $30 in advance. $35 at the door. Students: $10 at the door with ID. Group Discount: Buy 10 or more tickets and save 10%.
