An impromptu jam session with Rusty Stevens and Mike Vanhoy in 2010 began shaping what would become the acoustic duo Deep Shallow Band four years later. After being asked to play bigger shows and venues the two began recruiting other members to form a full band version. Bassist Robert Conrad and Guitarist Chip Cooper from Rusty’s previous band Satchel Foot jumped on board bringing an even more familiar chemistry to the mix. Charlotte Native Trey Walker, formerly of Muscadine and Dahli Lama to name a few, agreed to join in and lay down the groove to complete the lineup. The band began rehearsing, writing, and honing their brand of Southern Soul Rock and Roll and are ready to share it with you.
