A Vibe Outside (Westside Star Search & Karaoke Showdown opening round)
This is a large-scale community festival event taking place at West Complex in Charlotte’s historic West End. A Vibe Outside is the precursor to our flagship festival; A Vibe Called Fresh. This event will feature a pop-up skating rink, while also showcasing a musical theme from nuanced sub-genres of Black culture such as House Music, New Orleans Bounce, Afro-Beat, Soca, Dancehall, etc. There will also be vendors, contests, activities, as well as access to empowering resources & more. This event will also host the opening round for the ongoing Westside Star Search & Karaoke Showdown series, taking place at Five Points Plaza, beginning on August 27th.
