Sister Act Jr-Come Join the Fun!

We are so excited for the return of LIVE Theatre! This Spring, Charlotte Academy of Music will present Sister Act JR, a licensed production of Music Theatre International. Directed by CAM Musical Theatre and Voice Instructor, Joanna Dendrolivanos, Sister Act JR is filled with powerful gospel music, outrageous dancing, and a truly moving story. A sparkling tribute to the universal power of friendship, Sister Act JR is a reason to REJOICE!

Weekly rehearsals will take place at CAM on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 PM beginning December 7, 2021.  Our Sister Act JR cast will present the production onstage in the Kerr Building, Philadelphia Presbyterian Church, May 6-7, 2021.

Students may choose to enroll after auditioning. However, as space is limited, students are welcome to go ahead and secure their place in the production by enrolling now, ensuring their place in the cast. Tuition ($435) is all inclusive at CAM for our productions. There are no additional registration or costume fess. Also, scripts and cast t-shirts are included in the tuition.

Everyone who enrolls in Sister Act JR will be cast in the show! You will find auditions at CAM to be low pressure, stress free, and fun. Students should prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theatre song of their choosing. Auditions will take place on Saturday, November 13th from 2-4 PM, with call backs the same day from 5-7 PM.
