Wing Haven Lecture Series: Virtual Pruning Workshop
Presented by Wing Haven
This is a virtual event taking place online. Check below for details on how to access and/or register.
Speaker: Dr. Larry Mellichamp - Professor, Horticulturist
Have you committed crape-murder, hydrangea-homicide, azalea-assault? Do you want to learn proper pruning techniques?
Pruning is the art and science of removing branches from trees and shrubs to (1) direct or enhance their growth, (2) form them into desired shapes, or (3) act so deftly as to make it seem as though you had not pruned at all. This beginners class will consider the ways in which woody plants grow and how to envision your final result such that you can decide how, where and when to prune, using the proper tools.
As part of your registration, you will receive one free garden admission and access to the recording of the program. Details will be emailed upon registration.
Many thanks to Lecture Series Title Sponsor Blackhawk Hardware and Bronze Sponsors Atlantic Landscape Supplies, C. DeWitt Foard and Company, P.A., and Living Color Gardens.
