Digging Deeper with Art-Kiddo - January (4-6 year olds)

Digging Deeper with Art-Kiddo is a cumulative Bilingual Spanish Art Course. The program will follow a natural seasonal flow, with three units: Fall, Winter, and Spring. Each month will present a new theme within which kiddos will more organically explore art, wildcrafting, permaculture, herbalism, ecology, environmental stewardship, gardening, and sustainability; ultimately with the hopes of fostering a rich and meaningful connection with the Earth through bilingual instruction and nature-based play. 

Our goal is to provide a framework for kiddos to go deeper as Spanish language learners and to have more time to create works of art that enable them to more fully explore the topics outlined above as well as spend more time in the gardens. 

Each month will be a standalone class but combined they will act as a full year-long curriculum. Classes are every Tuesday during the month of January in the SEED Wildlife Garden. Classes take place outside, rain or shine. Cancellation of a class due to severe inclement weather is determined by the Wing Haven staff.
