Walk Up Wednesday - Town Hall and A Woman's Work Workshop

This Walk Up Wednesday will include special programming as we grow closer to celebrating our 45th anniversary.

Starting at 5:30pm, don’t miss our final A Woman’s Work drop-in art workshop, in which you will spark inspiration from the style and themes of artists in this exhibit. Led by teaching artist Alicia McDaniel, create artwork that reflects the nuanced and foundational spirit of the Black woman.

At 7pm, join us for an important conversation on the Parks, Art, and Education tax referendum. Learn the ins and outs of the quarter cent tax and how it will impact artists, art institutions, and the overall Charlotte community. This town hall-style conversation is open to artists and the general public, and will feature County Commissioners, the Arts and Science Council, and members of the Committee.
