Symposium - Designing a Native Garden Workshop

Wednesday, October 16, 2019 @ 10:00am
Wing Haven

What are native plants and why should we plant them in our garden? Understanding the local ecological communities, and employing natives in our designs will reap environmental benefits and cost savings such as reduced water and chemical use, increased pollination, and lower maintenance. And including natives in our own gardens and public and commercial spaces adds interest, texture, and diversity. Join CeCe Haydock on an exploration of native plant choices and their implementation through a PowerPoint presentation, and then walk in the Wing Haven gardens to discuss specific plants and their uses. Program ends with a Q&A lunch with CeCe.

Registration deadline is October 4th, includes lunch. Space is limited.
