Teas of the British Isles: Scots-Irish in the Backcountry
Charlotte Museum of History & Hezekiah Alexander Homesite
Hezekiah Alexander and his family were descended from men and women who risked their lives and fortunes to travel to the New World to escape religious persecution, economic depression, and rising costs of living. These people were Scots-Irish and made up more than a quarter of the population of the United States in 1790. Join us to learn about this unique group of people who shaped the culture and traditions of the backcountry.
Tickets are $40 per tea. Museum members receive a 10% discount on individual tickets. To become a member, click here.
